You will lead the design, construction, operation and further development of the future EBS beamline for coherence applications.
Coherent scattering techniques, such as X-ray Photon Correlation Spectroscopy, Coherent Diffraction Imaging and Ptychography, will dramatically benefit from the enhanced coherence of the Extremely Brilliant Source (ESRF-EBS) upgrade, and therefore will improve their capabilities for both high resolution imaging and dynamics. Among the four flagship beamlines in its EBS science programme, ESRF aims to build a cutting-edge beamline for coherence applications. Coupling a unique instrument, to the availability of intense coherent X-rays will allow the development of novel techniques to yield quantitative, high-resolution information for both structural and dynamics studies.
