You will join a team of eight engineers and technicians in charge of the design, installation and maintenance of diagnostics tools and feedback systems for the electron beam in the accelerator complex of the ESRF. The team is working with various equipment and techniques, including embedded systems with FPGAs for real time signal processing and high frequency/low noise electronics in order to measure the electron beam characteristics (position, stability, size, etc…) and control them.
Under the technical supervision of the engineers of the team and with the help of an expert support group, you will:
