ID01 is a beamline that delivers sub-micron sized x-ray beams and aims to exploit the capabilities of local diffraction, coherent diffraction and full field microscopy techniques. These methods can generally be described as strain microscopy with differing fields of view and resolutions. ID01 is competitive over a wide energy regime reaching from 6 to 35 keV and can accommodate sample environments while routinely offering beamsizes down to 30 nm.
