Experiments Division Group Assistant

Context & Job description

The Experiments Division Group Assistant is in charge of the administrative operation of the Group and the organization of events. 

Missions: 

  • Provide administrative assistance for the operation of the Experiments Division Groups
  • Organize events (seminars, meetings, workshops and conferences) in coordination with the other Division Assistants
  • Provide administrative support to the Group Heads
  • Organization of group meetings
  • Writing up meeting minutes
  • Preparation, typing and formatting of documents and reports
  • Assistance to newcomers
  • Updating of the groups' web-pages both internally and externally

Expected profile

  • Secondary education + secretarial training, or higher education (BSc, Licence, HND, HNC, BTS, DUT, Bachelor, Meister, Vordiplom, Perito, Laurea Triennale, Diplomatura, Ingenieria Técnica or equivalent in secretariat
  • 3 years' experience 
  • Good knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Well-organized and methodical approach to work
  • Capability to work independently
  • Proficiency in English (working language at the ESRF) together with good knowledge of French

Working conditions

The salary will be calculated on the basis of relevant qualifications and professional experience.
