- Chief Information Security Officer
The ESRF is a world class research facility that produces intense X-ray beam to explore matter at the nano-scale. IT systems and solutions are vital infrastructure for the smooth running of all ESRF Divisions. It is therefore particularly important that all hardware and software solutions are properly protected against cyber-attacks.
The infrastructure and software solutions are developed by several teams primarily reporting to the Experiments Division, Instrumentation Services and Development Division (ISDD) and Technical Infrastructure Division (TID).
The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) will need to unite these teams around shared cyber security concerns, without having direct hierarchical authority over them.
