- Linux Systems Administrator Engineer
The TID/Information Technology Services (ITS) at the ESRF provides advanced computing resources and services that are essential to supporting our scientific missions.
We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Linux Systems engineer, willing to develop their skills in a dynamic and challenging technical environment. The ideal candidate will be service-oriented, with a strong background in open-source solutions deployment with a keen interest in the latest technologies.
As part of the Linux Unit, your responsibilities will include providing technical support for users developing and implementing technical solutions, as well as managing compute capacity, data storage, and archiving systems. Your main challenge is to validate and implement state-of-the-art data management solutions, while ensuring high availability and strong IT-security.
The ideal candidate should have in-depth experience in several of the following areas:
To maintain the high level of availability required for the facility, you will participate in standby operations.

The salary will be calculated on the basis of relevant qualifications and professional experience.
