- Beamline Operation Manager For the Extreme Conditions Beamlines ID15B and ID27
Advanced Degree: You possess a Master’s degree or equivalent (300 ECTS) in Physics, Materials science or a related field. A PhD is highly valued.
Specialized Skills: Deep expertise in powder and single-crystal X-ray diffraction, as well as high-pressure techniques, is required.
Technical Experience: You bring at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Diamond Anvil Cells (DAC) in both low and high-temperature applications.
Beamline and Data Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with beamline alignment and operations, data acquisition and processing, and a strong foundation in electronics and/or programming.
Collaborative Mindset: Strong ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and facility users.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English, the working language at ESRF.
The salary will be calculated on the basis of relevant qualifications and professional experience.
