Post-doc (f/m) on ID22 in the X-ray Diffraction and Scattering Group

ID22 is the ESRF’s high resolution powder diffraction beamline allowing the study at the atomic level of the structures of all varieties of materials, crystalline or otherwise, often in situ undergoing evolution with temperature, atmosphere, time, etc.

As a post-doc you will join the ID22 team and participate in the operation and development of the beamline. You will act as local contact and assist visiting users to design, plan, set up and conduct their experiments. You will be expected to develop your own scientific programme using the powder diffraction beamline and other instruments at ESRF, as appropriate.
