Recruitment Officer

Context & Job description

As part of a maternity leave replacement, we are looking for a Recruitment Officer to join our team and support the recruitment of new talent within ESRF.

Working closely with HR and Recruitment teams, hiring managers and internal stakeholders, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Recruitment needs: identify hiring needs, candidate profiles, skills and selection criteria with managers.
  • Job offers: prepare and write job descriptions and job advertisements.
  • Vacancy management: publish job offers on job boards, social media and other recruitment channels.
  • Candidate sourcing: find and approach suitable candidates.
  • Application screening: review applications and select suitable candidates.
  • Interviews: conduct initial interviews and support managers during the selection process.
  • Recruitment process: manage the process from application to job offer and keep candidates informed.
  • Reporting & KPIs: track recruitment activities and key performance indicators.
  • Onboarding: support the integration of new employees.
  • Recruitment events: participate in job fairs and recruitment events when needed.

Expected profile

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in recruitment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong service-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and responsiveness.
  • Excellent command of digital recruitment tools and professional social networks.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Proficiency in English (working language at the ESRF) and good knowledge of French

Working conditions

4-month temporary contract.

The salary will be calculated on the basis of relevant qualifications and professional experience.
