Payroll and Time Management Assistant

Context & Job description

As part of an audit aimed at improving the unit’s processes and organisation, you will join a team of 5 people responsible for managing employee files throughout the employment lifecycle, from onboarding to the end of the contract.

You will contribute to the monthly payroll process, social declarations, and time and absence administration. Working closely with employees and internal services, you will help address day-to-day queries while ensuring that information remains accurate and up to date.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Preparing and checking payroll data and payslips
  • Supporting payroll interfaces and controls
  • Contributing to social declarations and end-of-contract documentation
  • Recording and checking absences in our time-management system
  • Responding to employees' payroll and time-management questions
  • Supporting the onboarding of new employees
  • Taking part in the continuous improvement of our processes and tools

A hands-on role, at the heart of a collaborative HR team, combining technical payroll expertise, employee support and continuous improvement.

Expected profile

We are looking for someone who is comfortable with payroll calculation, enjoys working with people and pays attention to detail.

You have:

  • A degree or equivalent professional qualification (minimum 120 ECTS) in Payroll or a related field
  • 3+ years' experience in payroll and/or time & absence administration
  • Good knowledge of French payroll rules and social security regulations
  • Experience with payroll and time-management software; PeopleNet Paie / eTemptation is a plus
  • Good command of French and English

You are: rigorous, organised, responsive, service-minded and discreet, with a strong sense of confidentiality.

International candidates are very welcome! What matters is your knowledge of the French payroll environment and your ability to work confidently in French.

Working conditions

Temporary contract of 18 months.

The salary will be calculated on the basis of relevant qualifications and professional experience.
