- Computational Scientist for Serial Macromolecular Crystallography
Structural Biology is one of the most important family of techniques at the ESRF, both for academic and industrial users, with state-of-the-art instruments including the upgraded ID29 beamline for time-resolved serial crystallography.
You will join the team of scientists and software engineers working on the applications and data processing for structural biology, primarily for serial synchrotron crystallography.
You will conduct an original research program in the field of structural biology, involving the macromolecular biology instruments of ESRF (e.g. for room temperature and time resolved structural studies).
The work will take place in the Algorithms & scientific Data Analysis group, in close collaboration with the Structural Biology beamlines, notably ID29. Further information about the post can be obtained from Daniele de Sanctis (daniele.de_sanctis@esrf.fr) and Vincent Favre-Nicolin (favre@esrf.fr).
