The Vacuum Group provides services the ESRF accelerators and beamlines. Its responsibilities encompass a broad range of support. Join our dynamic team and play a key role in overseeing the vacuum systems across the entire complex of accelerators and ESRF beamlines. Your main responsibilities will include the following:
- Conducting performance analyses to optimize systems.
- Performing regular maintenance and repairs.
- Undertaking projects to improve vacuum efficiency.
- Assembling and testing vacuum chambers to precise specifications.
- Modifying installations and troubleshooting.
- Collaborating with teams for installation and providing technical support.
- Cleaning and preparing components for vacuum exposure.
- Documenting procedures and results accurately.
- Participating in routine and emergency maintenance, with mandatory standby.
- Developing and implementing innovative technologies and repair techniques.
The salary will be calculated on the basis of relevant qualifications and professional experience.
