The Payroll & Time Management Unit (5 team members) handles payroll, time tracking, and administrative processes related to staff attendance and compensation. As part of a major project to upgrade our Absence & Time Management (ATM) software, we are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the team during this busy period.
Main responsibilities:
- Assist with administrative tasks related to payroll
- Monitor sick leave and manage related documentation (daily allowances, social security, provident schemes)
- Respond to internal email enquiries
- Provide general administrative support to the team
Qualifications & technical skills
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent 120 ECTS) in Business Administration, HR, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in administrative roles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Fluent in English (working language at the ESRF)
Personal qualities
- Proactive, organised, and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Comfortable with multitasking and changing priorities
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
Temporary contract of 6 months.
The salary will be calculated on the basis of relevant qualifications and professional experience.
