- Radiation Protection Technician
The ESRF is one of the world's most advanced synchrotron facilities, where thousands of researchers explore matter at the atomic scale using very high-energy X-rays. Joining the ESRF means contributing to a unique international scientific infrastructure that supports research and innovation.
At the heart of the ESRF, the Safety Group ensures a controlled working environment by addressing the radiation protection challenges associated with accelerators and beamline equipment. From shielding studies and radiation monitoring to personal and environmental dosimetry, its activities are essential to the successful operation of scientific experiments.
In this cutting-edge environment, some beamlines use radioactive sources for calibration purposes, while others involve the handling of radioactive samples. Radiation protection is therefore a key component in supporting scientific research.
Integrated into this team and mentored by a Radiation Protection Engineer, you will play a practical and operational role on a daily basis. Your responsibilities will include:
Permanent contract.
The salary will be calculated on the basis of relevant qualifications and professional experience.
